The

| Our support for charities
through singing... |
|
One of
the objectives of the Society is to make donations to other charitable
bodies when we can afford it. The Singers are a non-profit making
society and if finances allow we make donations to local good
causes and charities. The focus is usually local, or sometimes
it can be a cause which chimes with members of the singers for
personal reasons.
In recent times, monies donated to local good causes have been
raised through raffles held at our two main concerts in the Summer
and at Christmas.
In recent years, the committee has decided to support local charities
including, Brewood and District First Responders and Brewood
Dementia support group.
We usually raise between £300-£400 for the chosen
cause. Here you can see members of the committee presenting cheques
to these causes.
Our most
recent raffle at our Christmas concert in 2023 saw our generous
audience raise £525 for the National Autistic Society of
which there is a local Stafford branch.
