Concert at Polesworth Abbey

What a lovely concert we had at Polesworth in April in aid of Thomas Brookes who is now, as a result of our efforts, going to Uganda in June to help build a school.  The Tamworth Herald helped us publicize the concert, and as Cynthia Knight did such a wonderful write up for us, the is little more needed for me to say other than copy Cynthia's report from the Herald. (below photo's)   A big thank you to the Brewood Singers for providing us with the opportunity to raise over £657.04 for Soft Power Education.

David and Tom would like to thank all at the Abbey for making the concert such a success, for Fr Philip's support and for the Brewood Singers for producing such a lovely concert.  A special thanks also to Bob & Janis Kind for supplying and serving the cheese, Dave Parsons for serving wine, Jane Bailey and Carol Nash for making and serving the tea and coffee, Charlotte and Anna Bailey for giving out the programmes and Dave Butcher and Bob Kind for being 'on the door' and 'front of house'.
