Sept 1996 - Aug 1997
One of the things that stick in my mind from this year is the evening at the Staffordshire Showground in December. We all got there in plenty of time in order to eat the wonderful buffet they provided. As the time came close to our performance I noticed Paul our pianist had not arrived. Just as the panic began to set in luckily he arrived, in the nick of time. Apparently he had plenty of time to spare and pulled over in the car for a break. Unfortunately he fell asleep in the car only to be woken by a policeman! As Paul had his dress suit and bow tie on, the policeman thought he had been 'drinking'!!! While being grateful for the alarm call, I think he was just a little bit embarassed about it. (Apologies Paul)

The year's concerts are listed on the left. We decided to postpone our summer concert until the autumn, so details about that are on the Sept 1997 - Aug 1998 page. If anyone has any memories from this year please let me know and I will add them in.
